Supportive Environment
At DISV Secondary School, students engage in challenging, meaningful learning through the IB MYP and Diploma — developing knowledge, critical thinking, and global awareness.
The Secondary School at Danube International School Vienna offers a dynamic and supportive environment where students are challenged to think critically, act responsibly, and pursue their individual goals with confidence.
Grades 6–10
Building on the foundations established in the Elementary years, students in Grades 6–10 follow the International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme (MYP), which encourages inquiry, reflection, and real-world application of knowledge. The MYP fosters academic depth alongside personal growth, helping students develop the skills, empathy, and resilience needed for success in an ever-changing world.
Grades 11 and 12
In Grades 11 and 12, students undertake the prestigious IB Diploma Programme (DP) — a globally recognised qualification that opens doors to leading universities worldwide. The DP cultivates intellectual curiosity, balance, and self-discipline, preparing learners to become compassionate leaders and lifelong learners who make a difference.
Personalised Guidance
Throughout Secondary School, our experienced teachers provide personalised guidance and support, helping each student discover their strengths and chart a pathway that aligns with their ambitions. Beyond academics, students engage in a rich programme of arts, sports, service, debate and leadership opportunities that nurture confidence, collaboration, and character.
