MYP Programme (11-16 Years)

The IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) at DISV empowers students aged 11–16 to think critically, connect learning to the real world, and become confident, compassionate global citizens.

IB Middle Years Programme

The IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) at Danube International School Vienna provides a challenging and engaging framework for students in Grades 6–10.

Grounded in the IB philosophy, the MYP encourages learners to become critical thinkers, effective communicators, and responsible global citizens.

Through a concept-driven curriculum, students explore interdisciplinary connections between subjects, apply their learning to real-world contexts, and develop the confidence to take meaningful action.

Connecting students, parents, and alumni in a global learning environment.

Curiosity and Creativity

The MYP nurtures curiosity and creativity, supporting students as they navigate early adolescence and prepare for the academic demands of the IB Diploma Programme and beyond.

At Danube, we place strong emphasis on student voice, collaboration, and reflection. Learning extends beyond the classroom through service learning, cultural experiences, and a focus on developing the IB Learner Profile attributes in everyday practice.
