Discover personalised university counselling and the leading institutions our
graduates attend worldwide.

Graduates of Danube International School Vienna continue their educational journeys at leading universities around the world.

The IB Diploma Programme prepares our students not only for academic success but also for the independence, adaptability, and critical thinking required to thrive at university and beyond.

Our university and careers guidance programme supports every student through the application process, helping them to explore pathways, prepare personal statements, and make informed decisions about their future. We host multiple university fairs at the school and representatives from leading universities around the world regularly visit the school, keen to attract our students. Students are supported in their university application journey by our university counselor.

The majority of students at Danube choose to study in English after they graduate. The most popular destination is the U.K., which attracts around a quarter of our students, followed by the Netherlands and other countries in Europe which offer courses in English. A significant number of our graduates choose to stay in Austria, having made this country their home. Students either enroll in courses at state universities, usually taught in German and charging minimal fees, or attend private universities which offer courses in English.
